I guess this is why Millbury acts like a child on telecasts when the Flyers are on.

Agreed.

I went to all 3 games in Philly in 2006. Game 6 was a debacle, but Bill is 100% right that it was all Forsberg and that he did basically single-handedly win games 3 and 4.

Milbury is one of those punk tough guys when in a pile but when separated wants no parts of a fight.

There are always trades at the draft. Teams are going to have to make moves for next year with the cap issues. How is that going to work with the draft before the season re-starts and the trade deadline past?

Few things are as satisfying as seeing Mike Milbury get his ass kicked.

Is moving up the draft BEFORE the season finishes something the NHL is seriously considering? Or is this just spitballing or some kind of thought experiment?

It seems the NHL owners witnessed the success of the NFL's virtual draft and like an ADD-afflicted bloodhound chasing the almighty dollar, is trying to ram through something similar that would greatly affect how GM's manage their teams.

Candidly, it sounds like a really stupid idea.

Will be interesting to see how they handle the draft and conditional picks. Rolling them to next year may be tricky for clubs that do not have the picks. Would the pucks flip flop. Like if they had a third this year but none next, do they then not get a third this year etc.

Also if they do the draft early makes me feel like the playoffs are less likely to occur.

The longer they are off and if the playoffs happen I feel we would see a lot of. Injuries. It seems to start the year more and more suffer groin pulls and what not. I know they are professionals but game shape is different.

Doubt it will but does this also change anything about the expansion draft set up.

A point to ponder about Oscar. Lets say his cancer goes into remission (you can't really say cancer is cured until several years pass) and he is in game shape - physically and mentally.

How long before his immune system recovers from radiation/chemo to justify the risk of exposure to Covid-19 in the near future though?
